Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships - quarterfinals
Roddick Sends Nadal Packing
Everyone expected total excitement when ATP stars Andy Roddick and Rafael Nadal were facing each other on centre court at the championships in Dubai. It was a high class match but in the end it's the terrifically serving American who went through in straight sets with 7-6 and 6-2. In the semifinals he will challenge the rising Serbian headliner, Novak Djokovic, who is world's current number 3.
The Russian Nikolai Dawydenko is also through and will meet Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the second semifinal match.
